  • You will experience mild redness, sensitivity, and possible swelling immediately after treatment. This can last up to 24 hours. It is also possible to bruise, and the skin may feel sore.

  • There is no downtime. You will experience mild redness and swelling immediately after treatment, but it quickly dissipates over the next 24 hours. You can return to work and go out in public! No hiding from this treatment.

  • Treatment time will vary from 30-60 minutes.

  • No, we use a prescription numbing agent that makes the treatment comfortable and pain-free. You may feel a slight prick when we draw the blood, but it is such a quick process that you should not feel a thing.

  • You will see results within a week, and you will continue to see results improve with time. A series of 4-6 treatments is the sweet spot for the best results.

  • We recommend waiting 24 hours after treatment to apply makeup.

  • Results are permanent. We recommend professional skin care maintenance, good, medical-grade skincare products at home, and a healthy lifestyle. Oh, and drink lots of water and use SPF!

  • Unfortunately, this treatment is not for everyone. We can’t treat the following patients:

    • Active skin cancer in the area to be treated

    • Open wounds, sores, irritated or compromised skin

    • Stainless steel or metal allergies

    • Bleeding disorders and dysfunction

    • Pregnancy and breastfeeding patients

    • Patients taking Accutane or prescription retinol

    • If you are taking blood-thinning medications

    • Anemia

    • Active infection

    • History of keloid scarring

    • Chronic conditions of the skin, such as eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, lupus, or scleroderma

    • If you must wear a tight-fitting mask such as a N95, KN95, etc., within 72 hours of your treatment.

  • • Bruising, swelling, redness, and peeling is a possibility. Schedule treatment at least two weeks before a special event. We recommend Arnica for bruising.

    • Notify your practitioner of any medications you have used within the last six months.

    • Notify your practitioner if you have a history of perioral herpes.

    • If you have a history of cold sores or fever blisters, it is recommended that you pretreat with medication at least 2-3 days before your treatment.

    • Avoid auto-immune therapies or products at least 24 hours before your treatment.

    • Do not wax the area to be treated within seven days of your scheduled treatment.

    • Arrive makeup-free if possible if treating the facial area.

    • Discontinue Accutane for at least 12 months before treatment.

    • Stop using any topical Retin-A or Vitamin A product at least 24 hours before treatment.

    • Do not exfoliate before your appointment or use exfoliating ingredients such as lactic acid, salicylic acid, or glycolic acid.

    • Drink lots of water before your appointment and start taking Arnica tablets.

    • Avoid alcohol two days before treatment.

    • Avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, Ginkgo Biloba, Garlic, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Flax Oil, ibuprofen, fish oil, and Vitamin E for two weeks before treatment. If you are taking any supplements at all, please notify your provider.

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, cigarettes, spicy foods, niacin, food high in salt (sodium), sugary foods, and processed foods 24 hours before treatment.

    • Wait two weeks after Botox or Fillers before receiving treatment.

    • Avoid IPL, BBL, laser procedures, and waxing two weeks before treatment.

  • • You may return to your normal daily activities immediately after your treatment – you may experience redness and swelling but it dissipates quickly.

    • Avoid vigorous exercise and sweating for at least 24 hours after treatment.

    • Avoid swimming, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for at least 24 hours.

    • Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least one week after the treatment.

    • Redness and sensitivity may occur after treatment. It may last for a couple of days.

    • Peeling is a possibility, and we usually see it happen 3-5 days after treatment.

    • Bruising is a possibility. We recommend taking Arnica tablets and eating pineapple.

    • Avoid medications that may cause inflammation, such as NSAIDs (Aleve, ibuprofen).

    • Use SPF UVA/UVB of at least 30. Reapply as directed throughout the day, LIKE IT IS YOUR JOB.

    • For best results, complete the full treatment schedule in intervals your provider recommends.

    • No picking or scratching, and do not touch your face.

    • Sleep on a clean pillowcase.

    • Avoid exfoliants for at least one week after treatment.

  • • Use a gentle cleanser in the morning and evening, and we recommend waiting at least 6 hours after treatment before you wash your face.

    • Keep the skin moisturized.

    • Do not use makeup for at least 24 hours.

    • You can resume your regular skincare routine in seven days, including using acids and retinol. You may resume sooner if your skin is no longer sensitive.
