Brows are the most prominent feature on your face and frame your eyes, making brows the most sought-after service for routine maintenance. We think brows are pretty important. We offer several brow treatments that can be done alone or in combination to achieve the “perfect brows” you are after.

The frequency will differ for each area and person, depending on your hair's growth cycle. Your provider will provide a recommended routine for you to follow. This also differs based on the brow treatment you are receiving.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This is different for everyone. Some people have more hair than others, so it is a personal choice. We have clients as young as eleven who come in for a tweeze or wax; some people do not start to wax or tweeze their eyebrows until they are adults. It is a very personal experience.

  • No, the hair will become thinner, softer, and more sparse over time with routine waxing or tweezing services.

  • Usually it lasts between 1-3 weeks. Your hair growth cycle has a lot to do with the timing and this varies from person to person.

  • We do not think so. Some of our clients even took a little brow nap during service.

  • We ask that anyone under 18 have a parent or legal guardian consent to the treatment.

  • Yes, of course.

  • No, we can’t wax for at least 2 weeks after you have received tox or filler. A Brow Tweeze is an excellent option.

  • Treatment is not recommended if you are experiencing any of the following:

    • Sunburned or irritated skin in the sites to be treated

    • Unidentified skin conditions in the sites to be treated

    • Those who have healed poorly after prior waxing services

    • Patients prone to skin discoloration

    • Patients that are taking photosensitizing medication, such as Accutane, should discontinue the medication 12 months before treatment

    • Those with raised lesions as these need to be checked by a dermatologist before treatment

    • Those with active fever blisters (Herpes Simplex Labialis).

    • Previous history of a reaction after a waxing service

    • Use of retinoids within seven days of scheduled service

    • Use of oral steroids within seven days of service

    • Vaccinations, especially the Covid vaccine and the boosters, can cause extra sensitivity

  • There is no downtime. The area may be sensitive. Please refer to our Post Care Guidelines for care after your waxing or tweezing service.

  • Treatment time will vary from 20 to 60 minutes.

    • Brows

    • Prior to your service please make sure your hair is at least ¼ inches long - about the length of a grain of rice.

    • Notify your provider if you have any hormonal conditions, including but not limited to PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), as these conditions tend to cause aggressive hair regrowth.

    • Notify your provider of any medications you have used within the last six months.

    • Do not use lotions or moisturizers before your treatment.

    • Discontinue Accutane for at least 12 months before treatment

    • Stop using any topical Retin-A or Vitamin A product at least seven days before your treatment. This is SERIOUS as your skin will lift off your face.

    • Avoid spray tans before your waxing service, the spray tan will impact your color.

    • Avoid using AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) and BHAs (beta hydroxy acids), retinoids, Vitamin A derivatives, and other exfoliating acids that may be in your products for at least seven days before treatment.

    • Must be off steroids and antibiotics for at least 14 days before your waxing service.

    • You may return to your normal daily activities immediately after your treatment.

    • Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least one week after your service.

    • Redness may occur after treatment. It will subside in a couple of hours.

    • Use SPF UVA/UVB of at least 30. Reapply as directed throughout the day for all exposed areas.

    • Use a gentle soap and cool water to cleanse the area.

    • Avoid shaving and tweezing between your waxing appointments.

    • Avoid saunas, hot tubs, pools, and the ocean for the first 48 hours after your service.
