Treating Acne with the Aerolase Laser

The laser treatment ("NeoClear "Acne Laser Facial) treats the underlying causes of acne by allowing energy to penetrate deep into the skin with the laser's unique 650-microsecond technology. The treatment is safe, tolerable, and highly effective at reducing sebum production and suppressing inflammation. In addition, it destroys the p. acnes bacteria that causes breakouts and helps to clear any present breakouts. It minimizes the risk of future breakouts and is an aid in prevention. It also helps build collagen, which reduces the appearance of acne scars and leaves the skin glowing and radiant.

Acne comes in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes, you can so much time addressing one symptom, like a breakout, only to get another symptom when the first one finally heals. However, this treatment can improve all different forms of blemishes, breakouts, and other skin conditions.

It will:

  • Address and improve the appearance of blemishes

  • Target and control blackheads and whiteheads

  • Help treat pimples

  • Improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation

  • Lighten dark spots

  • Treat scars from old breakouts

  • Reduce the size and overall appearance of your pores

During the first portion of your Aerolase treatment, your provider will treat your entire face. This part of the treatment is completed to destroy the bacteria that causes breakouts and sits on the skin's surface. The second portion of your treatment involves using the laser again, just on problem areas that need to be treated. This is where your provider will be looking to treat clogged and enlarged pores, redness and inflammation, and hyperpigmentation. Once you undergo an Aerolase treatment, you can expect your results to last for several months. Different factors will affect the total amount of time your results last, including your age, skin type, and skin condition.
