Melasma: How to Treat with the Aerolase

The laser's energy penetrates deep into the skin to break up melanin deposits while simultaneously shutting down vasculature and inflammation. We recommend combining this treatment with a chemical peel to speed up cellular turnover and accelerate improvement. Unfortunately, Melasma is challenging to treat, and several treatments may be needed with ongoing maintenance.

The Neo Elite's laser technology breaks up the epidermal pigment while addressing Melasma's deeper, dermal melanin and vascular components. The laser breaks down hyperpigmentation at the dermal level, decreases hyper-vascularity, and penetrates much deeper than topical treatment. As we said before, we recommend a chemical peel to follow up on your laser treatment. Depending on your skin type and condition, we can apply a light-to-medium chemical peel or hydroquinone compound to address the remaining epidermal pigmentation. This treatment offers little to no pain and delivers results you can see!
