Before going into your Custom Spa Facial, it is important to understand the treatment. Our Custom Spa Facial is a facial that is completely customized to your skin and its needs. Here is a breakdown of your appointment:
Consult: This is where your provider will discuss your skin, skin type, and skin conditions. This is where they get to know your skin and start assessing it.
Cleanse: Your provider will cleanse your face with our medical-grade facial cleanser. This is not only to clean the skin and give your provider a fresh canvas, but it also removes any dirt to be sure we are treating the skin in its cleanest form.
Skin Analysis: Your provider will now analyze your skin now that they have cleansed your face. This is where we see the skin without makeup or SPF on. We get to see your problem areas, ask questions, and start thinking of an amazing treatment plan based on what we see.
Second Cleanse: If you have not read our blog on double cleansing, you need to! Double cleansing is a must when treating the skin.
Tone: Your provider will tone the skin. This makes sure the skin is completely clean. Some impurities can stick to the face even after you wash your face.
Exfoliate: Exfoliation eliminates the dead surface skin cells and oil that plug sebaceous pores—the leading cause of blackheads, whiteheads, and other acne flare-ups—and leaves skin dull and listless.
Extract: The benefits of facial extractions include an even, clear complexion, less congestion, better product absorption and efficacy, and fewer breakouts in the future. Manual extractions are performed to help eliminate blackheads and closed comedones (whiteheads). Our providers will provide extractions, but we aim to do so without irritating the skin. If your provider struggles to extract an area, we would rather let the area be instead of causing redness, irritation, or bruising.
Tone: We will tone your skin post extractions to be sure we removed everything we just extracted.
Facial Massage: Relax and enjoy the facial massage.
Mask: Your provider has a variety of masques to choose from to help treat your skin. They will choose one that will benefit your skin most.
Tone: We will tone your skin post-mask to be sure we removed everything from the mask.
